THE BATTLE OF FISHING CREEK OR AS IT IS KNOWN THE BATTLE OF MILL SPRINGS KY 150 TH JANUARY 20 TO 21 2012

The breckinridge grays  company G. of the 5th Kentucky and the 8th Kentucky Infantry took the field as the 20th Tennessee  Jessie Bird And Captain Chad Wrinn both had ancestors who fought at the battle of Fishingh Creek on January 19th 1862. Captain Wrinn did an outstanding job at commanding the Company and seeing to the comfort of his men.

 The 8th Kentucky Infantry has Joined the 6th Kentucky Infantry & the 7th Kentucky Infantry along with Morgans Light Artilery to form the  3rd Kentucky Batalion
